The Beneficial Owner Steering Group actively promotes the collective voice of institutional investors within the securities lending market and the ISLA community. The group meets regularly to discuss securities lending market developments covering a wide variety of related market initiatives. A key focus for the group is the prudential management of securities lending programmes, resolution of buy side specific concerns, and more broadly a forum for those beneficial owners looking to network, promote best practise, and share their knowledge and experience with other like-minded market practitioners.

Requirement: Member firms can apply to join the group; however, attendance is reserved for institutional investors. Regular attendance and active participation in relevant meetings is required (ISLA reserves the right to modify attendance based on the current composition).
