Markets Regulation

Markets regulation promotes stable and orderly financial markets whilst safeguarding the interests of investors. This includes ensuring the stability and resilience of markets, providing fair and open access to markets and guarding against financial crime. Regulators also seek to ensure appropriate measures to protect investors and other market participants, whilst ensuring that there is open and transparent competition between service providers in the interests of market users.

ISLA promotes these same values and works extensively with its members firms and other key stakeholders, including pan-European regulators and global bodies as part of the various G20 initiatives, to build safer and more efficient markets.
