Market Infrastructure

Financial market infrastructure is critically important, providing a safe and efficient settlement environment that underpins broader financial stability across our markets. ISLA is closely involved in various initiatives related to evolving global post-trade market infrastructure. Trade settlement and collateral mobilisation are at the centre of these initiatives, and ISLA is working with key industry stakeholders, the regulatory community as well as other key groups to develop best practise and a common approach to these important issues.

In the longer term, the development of the Capital Markets Union (CMU) is also driving aspirational work to better understand rigidity within the post trade space and identify opportunities for change.
