On Tuesday 29 June, the European Commission (EC) released its Interim Report on the Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR) to the European Parliament and the Council.
The report makes clear that the Commission is considering proposing a REFIT legislative review of CSDR, subject to an impact assessment which ISLA believe will be released in Q3-Q4 2021.
ISLA will continue with its advocacy efforts for the decoupling of the penalty and buy-in framework.
