ISLA Morning Briefing | Dublin 2017

ISLA will be hosting its first securities lending briefing in Dublin for Irish market participants. This half day event will be a mix of presentations, key notes addresses and a securities lending panel discussion; all designed to provide the regional audience with an opportunity and a forum to discuss industry trends, regulatory drivers and the growing importance of securities finance in the context of broader market liquidity.

Factors that will all become increasingly more important in a post-Brexit world, as Ireland assumes even greater importance as a key financial centre.

The session will also focus on many of the misconceptions that are still prevalent in this market post the financial crisis of 08.

Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV/COVID-19

In response to the recent outbreak of Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV/COVID-19, we are monitoring the situation closely on a daily basis, and will be following the directions and guidance of the World Health Organization, as well as relevant local authorities (Sozialministerium Oesterreich & Bundesministerium Oesterreich) in making planning decisions around the European Conference in Vienna.

We are currently working with our venues, caterers and suppliers to ensure they have implemented stringent cleaning and sanitation measures, with the comfort, safety and health of our delegates and colleagues being our priority.

As it currently stands, there are no official travel warnings or bans for travelling to Austria.
