Description:
Reference to the year of the master agreement version used for the reported trade, if applicable (e.g. 1992, 2002, etc.)

Best Practice:
If Field 2.09 (Master Agreement Type) is populated with a value other than "BIAG", "CSDA" or "OTHR", then this field shall be populated in a common input format: YYYY with the first two digits either "19" or "20"; else it shall be left blank. Note Paragraph 228 of the ESMA guidelines states that the year the document was signed should be used if there is no version available. (SFTR-31)
