Hélène Baudchon

Hélène Baudchon joined BNP Paribas’ Economic Research Department in October 2011 as a Senior Economist. In March 2023, she was appointed Deputy Chief Economist and has been responsible for Macroeconomic Research in the Department since January 2025. From 2021 to early 2025, she headed the OECD Economics and Statistics team, covering the euro area economy as well as the United States, after having followed the French economy scope for ten years. In her current position, Hélène ensures global coverage of the economy for the department’s activities. She supervises and provides forecasts and analyses on economic policy, the economic situation as well as short- and longer-term economic prospects and issues. She writes articles on a wide range of economic topics and is a regular contributor to the French media.
Before joining BNP Paribas, Hélène had worked for six years at Crédit Agricole S.A., in the economists’ team as an economist covering the United States area. She started her career in 1995 at the Paris-based Observatoire Français des Conjonctures Economiques (OFCE) being in charge of the US economy.
Hélène holds a master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from Université Montesquieu in Bordeaux

Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.
Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).
Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.

Farrah joined ISLA in September 2019 and is Director of Regulatory & Government Affairs within the Regulation & Market Practice group.
Farrah provides invaluable support to this strategically important part of the Association’s focus, by working with the various workstream coordinators to monitor and assess EMEA financial regulations, including Tax, that have potential to impact the securities lending market.
Farrah reviews regulatory implementation, consultations and manages industry working groups, whilst monitoring updates from policy makers & National Competent Authorities to maintain best practice documentation.
Prior to ISLA, Farrah occupied client service and desk support roles within derivatives and securities lending middle office, as well as in asset servicing operations, for J.P Morgan Chase.

Siamak Mostafavi has been a recognised tax specialist in the market for over 30 years. He advises French and international clients of renowned financial institutions and investment funds such as JP Morgan, Barclays, Citi, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and BAML on a wide range of transactions including equity and debt securities, derivatives, asset financing, capital markets, securities portfolio transfers and derivatives and cross-border transactions.
Previously Senior Counsel at Dentons in Paris, Siamak Mostafavi began his career at EY in 1984 as a tax associate, before joining HSBC in 1988 as a tax advisor in the capital markets team. In 1992, he joined Gide where he was appointed Tax Partner before successively joining Allen & Overy (1999-2013) and then Jones Day (2013-2018). He holds an MBA from HEC in Paris and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1992.
Siamak is the leading French tax specialist of the French equity capital markets, and is regularly invited by the relevant market associations (ISDA, AFME, ISLA) to make presentations on the latest changes to the French rules and market practices.

Johann has 20 years of experience in financial services across London and Paris where he has developed new solutions for both the buy-side and sell-side. Johann is committed to exploring how digital transformation impacts trust networks in finance and creates new opportunities, especially in securities finance. Frédéric has been managing Market & Financing Services since October 2021. Frédéric is a member of the BNP Paribas Securities Services Management Board Committee.
Frédéric started its career in 1997 and joined the Cash Management department of BNP Paribas in 1999. He then moved to General Inspection as a generalist Inspector before joining Global Market Fixed Income in London in 2004. He held several positions from Portfolio and ABCP Conduit Manager to Securitization structurer. Back in France in 2010, Frédéric became Supervisor of CIB for France at General Inspection before moving to Securities Services to set up and lead during a decade the Asset & Liability Management and Treasury department. Since 2021 Frédéric has been running the Market & Financing Services arm of Securities Services.

Vladislav belongs to the Global Markets division within SGCIB, covering regulatory, tax and legal topics.
Vladislav is a Co-Chair of the ISLA Tax Committee, member of ISDA, AFME & PASLA tax committees and a regular attendant to industry forums and discussions.
