Market Practice Steering

The Market Practice Steering Group (MPSG) supports the Association’s work on all matters relating to market practices in adherence and alignment to global and jurisdictional standards.

The group will further consider best practices and supporting activities impacting the structural architecture of the EMEA Securities Lending market, including the full lifecycle of pre/post trade activities, accelerated settlement, corporate actions, tax and regulatory impacts.

Note: In September 2024 the Accelerated Settlement (T1) working group was merged back into the MPSG, previous minutes from the paused Accelerated Settlement (T1)  focus group are available on request to regtech@islaemea.org.

Frequency: Regular
Requirement: Member firms can apply to join the group, however regular attendance and active participation in relevant meetings is a prerequisite (ISLA reserves the right to modify attendance based on the current composition).
