Advocacy & Public Policy Committee

The Advocacy & Public Policy Committee has been established as part of a dedicated Advocacy Pillar designed to shift our focus from reactive technical analysis toward a more proactive, public policy strategy on behalf of the Securities Lending Industry.

As part of our commitment to delivering greater value to our members, ISLA is strategically evolving its approach to regulatory engagement. This evolution ensures that ISLA is not only responding to the rules of today but actively participating in the political and legislative dialogues that will define the market of tomorrow.

Frequency: Regular
Requirement: Member firms can apply to join the group; however, we invite our members to put forward representatives who hold responsibility for government affairs, regulatory policy, or public advocacy. To nominate a representative or to request further information, please contact Farrah Mahmood, Head of Advocacy, Public Policy & Regulatory Strategy.

Regular attendance and active participation in relevant meetings are a prerequisite (ISLA reserves the right to modify attendance based on the current composition).
