On 18 March, ISLA and Women in Securities Finance (WISF), London Chapter, saw so many women across Securities Finance participate in a Panel Skills Workshop followed by a Networking Reception featuring a keynote presentation, in support of International Women’s Day 2026.
The ISLA Connects and WISF joint event kicked off mid-afternoon with an interactive Panel Presentation Skills Workshop led by Martine Croxall (Upstage Training) & Ann Wright (Rough House Media).
- The workshop attendees were lead through the secrets of becoming an effective panellist and the key questions that every panellist should consider before accepting a speaking opportunity even if they are seasoned practitioners.
- There was also an opportunity for some of the attendees to practice their newly acquired skills on a panel session moderated by Martine.
Following the workshop the group gathered for a Networking Session, where Ina Budh-Raja and Harpreet Bains addressed the audience with insights on their respective journeys to public speaking. Martine rounded off the event with a keynote address on her journey from her early days in journalism to presenting to a global audience presenting on the BBC.
All of our panellists performed expertly and we are looking forward to seeing you on future industry panels!
