The Report has become an integral part of the Association’s messaging, helping market participants and interested stakeholders alike, to better understand the key trends and influences across the global securities lending industry.
In this edition, and alongside the customary review of how collateral underpins our markets, we also look at how the use of pledge collateral in particular is gaining significant momentum.
At the same time, State Street provide their perspectives and experiences of the equity and fixed income markets more broadly over the past six months. For the first time, since the inception of SFTR data reporting to trade repositories, ISLA have included their analysis of this publicly available dataset.
