3What We've Achieved

Sustainable Merchandise & Pricing

As part of our commitment, and notably for our events, we endeavour to source materials and merchandise that are eco-friendly. At the same time, we have consciously reduced printed materials and signage, in favour of digital options and marketing, encouraging sponsors and exhibitors to do the same.

How We've Offset Our Carbon

Carbon offsetting enables business to meet climate goals, puts a price on carbon to incentivize further action, and provides monetary support to accelerate the world’s transition to a low-carbon future. Carbon offsets are an internationally recognized way to take responsibility for unavoidable carbon emissions.

ISLA endeavours to offset travel for all ISLA staff and strives to make all ISLA events sustainable and as carbon neutral as possible. In addition to this, in 2023 ISLA has offset a total of 70 tonnes CO2e as a company.

Christian Kitchen - Charitable Donations

In 2020 ISLA was proud to have been able to support the Christian Kitchen charity by donating thermal flasks to a charitable cause for use as the cold weather continues over the coming months.

With everyone working remotely during the COVID Pandemic, the ISLA team wondered how we could support local charities and came up with the idea of repurposing branded merchandise that would have otherwise been left unused in the office. We wanted to ensure that the 100 or so thermal mugs went to a worthwhile cause, so we decided to donate them to the Christian Kitchen in Walthamstow, London.
