On 2 June 2017, the FCA published its latest newsletter on market conduct and transaction reporting issues, FCA Market Watch – 52.
The newsletter focusses on “Dividend arbitrage – our requirements for firms” and has been published following a review of the activities of some firms engaged in dividend arbitrage. In the newsletter, the FCA sets out their findings, the background to the review and what firms may wish to consider, including firms’ responsibilities.
