On 10 December 2024, ISLA in collaboration with BNY will be holding an in-person educational briefing for new or recent entrants to the industry, who are looking to further their knowledge and understanding of ISLA, and the role of an association within the securities finance industry.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into the role of a Trade Association, and how ISLA supports the securities lending and borrowing industry. You will hear from ISLA on areas of strategic focus, including our advocacy & policy work, development of market best-practice, the digital agenda, our industry Working Groups, membership engagement, as well as the important role of events, communications and content. The briefing will conclude with a fireside chat with senior members from the industry who are part of the ISLA Board of Directors.

This will be followed by a structured networking reception, allowing attendees to meet and discuss their thoughts and experiences with peers over refreshments.

Throughout 2024, ISLA has held a series of ISLA Connects educational briefings, with support from host firms such as BNY, who we are delighted to partner with in supporting the development of the future talent pipeline for the Securities Finance industry.
